Manchester City forward has announced his apology to Chelsea defender David Luiz for his studs-up tackle on the Brazilian during City’s 2-1 win over Chelsea in the FA Cup semifinals via Twitter. The Argentine will not face a ban for his reckless tackle against the Brazilian, but following Luiz’s request for an apology, Agüero has announced that he has contacted Luiz, on social networking side Twitter. Although referee Chris Foy did not card Agüero for the challenge, the twenty-eight-year-old has admitted his tackle was a rash “impulse.”
I’ve contacted @davidluiz_4 and apologized for what happened during the match. It was an impulse reaction that shouldn’t have happened.

City, who have lost the Premier League title race to Manchester United, will be looking to win their only possible chance of silverware this season, and will need a win over Wigan Athletic in the FA Cup final next month to claim any titles at all this season.
