Arsenal are looking to climb into fourth place in the English Premier League with a win over West Brom, while West Brom hope too keep European qualification in their sight. The Gunners currently sit in fifth place in the Premier League, and with a win they could climb one point above Chelsea into the Champions League qualification spot: fourth place. West Brom on the other hand are in eighth place, and a win would be crucial for their bid to keep European qualification in their sight, as they are already nine points behind the single Europa League spot in the Premier League, which Arsenal currently contain.
The last time the two sides met was back in December 2012, with Mikel Arteta scoring twice from the penalty spot to give Arsenal a 2-0 win. Statistically, Arsenal should win the match as The Baggies have not beaten Arsenal since 2005. Also, Arsenal have won six of their last ten matches, scoring sixteen goals, while West Brom have only won three, scoring ten. Both sides have both been on good form recently, with Arsenal winning all of their last three matches by a two-or-more goal difference, and West Brom have scored seven goals in their last five matches. Whether West Brom score another or not, the match is sure to be excititng, so look out for my full time review, right here on Football Every Day.
