MOTD halftime- Liverpool 1-0 Swansea City

This English Premier League game at Anfield has so far lived up to it’s expectations, with Liverpool deservedly in the lead off a Steven Gerrard penalty.  Liverpool started the game absolutely dominant, and almost scored in the seventeenth minute when a Steven Gerrard free-kick hit the wall, rebounded to Luis Suarez, but Suarez’s shot from the edge of the box just went wide of the post.  Their next big chance game in the twenty-sixth minute, when a brilliant Suarez long ball found Daniel Sturridge open on the right, but Sturridge could not get a shot off.  So, he dribbled through the box, skipping past the Swansea defenders, but he lost the ball through a brilliant Garry Monk challenge, but Monk could not control the ball, and it fell to Suarez, six yards out from the Swansea goal.  But Swansea goalkeeper Michel Vorm charging him, and his shot went wide.  Liverpool finally got in front in the thirty-fourth minute though, and when Suarez was clipped by Kemy Agustien insid the Swansea penalty area, and Steven Gerrard buried the resulting penalty into the bottom left corner of the net.  After that goal Liverpool were still dominant, but could not create anymore good chances, so the half ended 1-0 Liverpool.  Whatever the end score though, the rest of the match is sure to be exciting, so look out for my full time review of it, right here on Football Every Day!
