MOTD halftime- England 1-0 Brazil

This exciting friendly between two international powerhouses has so far been great to watch.  England started the game lackadaisical, and nearly paid for it when Brazil won a penalty in the nineteenth minute through a Jack Wilshre handball.  Ronaldinho’s shot was poor though, and was saved by Joe Hart.  The chance was not over for Brazil though, as the ball bobbled back out for Ronaldiho to tap in, but Hart produced a brilliant save to stop the shot.  Brazil paid for not finishing that chance, because soon after that England turned on and started attacking the Brazil goal.  England’s first big chance of the match came when Jack Wilshere played a ball to Danny Welbeck, who took the ball up the left, but his shot went wide.  England kept attacking the Brazil goal, and broke the deadlock when Wilshere found Theo Walcott open on the right, his shot was straight at Brazil keeper Julio Cesar but the ball rebounded for Wayne Rooney to curl into the open net past three Brazil defenders.  The rest of the game is sure to bee exciting, so look out for my post match review, right here on Football Every Day!
